A true connoisseur would choose the Hartges all day long. They are specifically made for BMWs and are more rare than the ACSs. Everyone is doing Meisters it seems like and futuras, while a classic design, will not really flow with your car unless you go with some big lips $$$.

Hartges cover all the bases. Rare, quality, and clean

It's never been done. So do it.

that's exactly what temps me even more.

I honestly dont think that any of those work well on an E46. They are all a bit too old school for the lines. If I had to choose, I would say the Works or the hartges(maybe). I think a more modern 5 spoke like a fikse or a modern-ish mesh wheel would look A LOT better than anything else you listed.

Any of the above? Seriously, you just listed off 4 of my top 10 wheels of all time.

To be different, I would go with the Hartge's, as the others have been done on a E46. While the Hartge's probably have as well, I haven't seen any in circulation. Whatever you decide, you are reaching out for "baller status" as none of those options are cheap. Hats off to you my dear.
