i found one locally, not even actively for sale. drove by the guy's house and saw him outside mowing. older man and his is a very clean '73 white with thin whitewalls and its the 6 cyl. gas w114 so it has the smaller bumpers and he said he'd take $2,500. i wish i had the extra money. id be happy to have two in the driveway

Between the time I posted that and now, It sold! It was just listed! Seriously I knew it. Probably better off cuz my wife is out of town for 5 days and she would have had my ass if I brought home another car...

This car is superb. Seriously... I just went on our local craigslist and found a sweet one for $2200 owned and maintained by a mechanic. I'm seriously considering buying it. I **** you... My wife is gonna kill me. I just bough that damn bimmer!
