I'm digging the wheels, "Prime" Hammers were the rage back in the day for knockoffs.

If you make all the chrome/metal/polished stuff on the car black or get rid of it, it would look a LOT better.

There's more than arch difference at play- If your front is laid out, put a bump stop in the back. It's reverse-raked and I think that'd also help to improve what you're doing.

i'm just saying that rs wheels are the most popular of 3pc mesh wheels only due to the fact that they easy to find. anyone that can type rs into ebay can have a fully restored set of rs wheels in any offset and size they want.

    OP,

If you're insisting on keeping the wheels, I think a serious set of spacers and more drop in the front will help you out in a large way.

I personally think bigger & wider would do the car justice, but it's not terrible by any means. The car looks very clean & the owner is proud of it & that;s all that really matters.

I completely agree, If I wanted something that looked like the 6 other stanced e24s Id go meshies... I'm always hunting for new rims but unless Rotiform or fifteen52 sponsors me the new look may come tomorrow or in 5 years /shrug who knows. But like everybody else in the scene if the right deal comes along Im not gonna let to slip through my fingers.

I get wanting to stay period correct with your wheels, but I feel like something else would just work so much better with this car. If not RSs, then Remotecs, RAs, Borbet type As, etc would be a step up, IMO. Don't think you cant find a good deal if you look around, I once scored a set of 16X8 RSs for 189 shipped on ebay, just have to search like a mofo.
