I saw you at C&O and tried to get some good pictures but it just had to be soooo clean and nice that people couldn't stop looking at it and getting in my shot.
Seriously though, the white center/gold bolt/polish lip wheel setup really got my attention. looksgoodman.

I'm assuming that that Fast Five scene was filmed in GA. How did you and your car get into that out of curiosity?
I have most of the parts I needed, I have been collecting them slowly for a few years lol.
I had an audition through my agent for my role, I took the car to an open call and they picked it out of what had to be hundreds of cars that showed up. Besides the fact that they typically do not like white and red cars for filming I was flattered that they picked my old boy out of the cars that were there.
I got paid for the car and myself to be there.
I will be on the show "Necessary Roughness" on the 11th in case anyone is interested.
Here is one that someone took from "Caffein and Octane" this morning. I was already sweating at 7:30 a.m. so I did not stay long. That's me and Mr. Harrison from "Harrison Motorsports".

Thanks.Originally posted by NathanHeeney View PostThe interior swap looks great! Tan with a mix of black never disappoints!
[quote=evilminge30;822495]Ouch. I remember a thread about that being a common problem with E34's and I swapped my old one out.Originally posted by BOOGIEBOY View PostAlways nice to hear.
Not the fire......but the inspiration part lol. What happened?
blower motor continued running after the car was parked in my office parking burned my leather dash and all the wiring under the dash
Made some more progress with the interior.

I think that it came out pretty good. I have decided that I actually like the look of the speaker covers the way that they are for now, I can always get black ones if I change my mind.

I also got the bumper back.:buttrock

Representing.

While I was down there I wound up getting into a whole other project that I had not intended to start.

Got everything back together and gave him a bath.

I probably spent 12 hours by myself in my garage yesterday with some good tunes. It was a good day.
A little teaser.

I am still fiddling around with the interior, but in the meantime I had to pop the bumper back off to fix a few things that I was not happy with.

Paint chipping and peeling, no bueno.

I popped the old one back on for now, but I will have the M5 bumper back on tomorrow, I may even paint my calipers If I don't get too lazy.:redspot

Thanks bro bro.Originally posted by DaFlameKing View PostDamn boogie. Nice as always. Still following your car and your builds, even way back before the E39s and stuff. lolol. I don't go on BFC anymore but glad you're still tweaking your car and posting it here. I'm still working on my E34 but gotta stop drifting first lolol.
Alpine E34s ftw!
Drifting will kill your car faster than most things lol. I have been fighting the urge to track my car, but I am going to have to get it out and see what it can do eventually.
Made some more progress, tightened up some gaps....etc.
The beige speaker covers were originally going to be painted or dyed black, but I honestly like the way they look for some reason? I may just leave them for a while.

Once the carpet is dyed black, I think that it will make everything else pop.

I spent some time doing touch ups on the paint and taking care of little annoyances that constantly get my attention while driving. I recommend to everyone that you stop being a lazy ass and do it too lol, It really makes you appreciate your driving experience more.
