Still haven't gotten around to do the engine swap, but I'm ordering the remaining parts needed as we speak. In the meantime, I've prepared the car for the Norwegian winter. As I work from home, I don't really need to use it every day, so I don't feel to bad about using it over the winter. I'll just take it out whenever the roads are nice and snowy, or maybe a trip to the lake every now and then

Looks pretty good in winter trim, doesn't it?

PS. I had to raise the rear a little, but I promise to drop it back down once the snow has gone!

Seriously overwhelmed by the positive feedback from you guys. Thank you so much!

I traded in my lovely 1965 Beetle for the Cressy, and I must admit it was a hard choice. There's something about cruising an air cooled cal looker in the summer that I find extremely relaxing. And as cool as old JDM tin might be, it'll never have the same effect on the oppsite sex as a red beetle!

But I needed something a bit more versitile. The beetle was awesome for cruising, but that's about it. The Cressy on the other hand doesn't mind going fast through a corner or even hang the ass out a little every now and then. And it's got a working heater!

Anyway, here's a pic of my old beetle, just in case some of you would like to see it
