one i did a few years ago.

If you wanna make this from scratch:

Make picture of your car (profile shot)
Remove background in pshop
Load in paint
Adjust size to very very small.
Then zoom in(!)
Replace every single pixel with stock paint colors.

(Takes ages)

Some of my pixel cars. Apart from the things that are credited in the images
I did everything my self apart from the stock car.
Quit this stuff after windows decided they needed a new ms paint.
Don't even have the concentration anymore but it was a fun way
to pass the time.
