I wasn't expecting to win best stance. I was hoping to win something, but didn't expect that. My car is "moderate" compared to some of the 350Zs out there, but I'm not a huge fan of a shit ton of poke and super pulled fenders look dumb on the Z in my opinion.

Anyhow, I had a great time, this was a good show, and I can't wait for Tailored.

And on that note, look for a re-introduction thread from me in the near future now that the Z has undergone some major changes.

No relation. But I supposed if there was some intended tie-in, Mike would have named it StanceWerks, since we have been running a WaterWerks VW show since 1995 or so in the Seattle Area. Makes me wonder if stanceworks got the naming convention from WaterWerks - ok, I'm kidding, but you get my point.

    Can someone clarify this.

Is "StanceWars" anything related to "StanceWorks" or did some random group decided to use a similar name and make some money off of it?

I'm bummed I didn't make it out. Both cars were down. The E21 finally turned over for the first time that day around 5pm. Now to get the ride dialed in and drive it.

The flyer should have tipped you off:

i agree the Z that won looks like pretty tame stance, but it seems like a nice turnout overall.

Not responding to your thread as much as I wanted to compliment your car. It looked superb in person and was one of my favorites at the show. Love every aspect of it - good job.

I also thought the S2000's were incredibly hot. And the VIP Mercedes ... and the Cadi.

    So many nice cars
