DC5R K20A, in a Nissan?

An f20c and a k20a are two completely different motors with different outputs and rev ranges.. This thing will pretty much be on boost the whole time, so I dont think that the sudden burst of power will be an issue. I am hoping its dry on the day and we get to see a decent smoke show

Totally a bad ass swap, but isnt it kind of a weak selection for what it being built for? Ive always read s2k's are so hard to drift because it takes so much to get it sideways and then vtec finally gives you some power and usually causes you to spin out. Wouldnt this be the same situation except exponentially worse? lol Its going to have like no torque then as soon as that turbo spools youre gonna be hit with some massive power. But hey, i dont drift, and i will admit i dont know much about it, more of an observation im curious about i guess.

Stock K's hold decent power. I've seen 500whp on stock internals.

Seriously? If so, then what they are predicting should be very doable... But this thing will be sitting close to limiter most of the time haha..

I wont say what sort of power figures it 'Might' produce, as I honestly have no idea. The audm K20A puts out 148kw at the fly, and they plan on tuning it with about 7lb boost. The internals are 100% stock, and Ive been told if it blows up, they'll just build another.

I believe it will hold together and wont throw a rod, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see haha. There will be much track footage of it in 2 weeks, so stay tuned.
