As far as I know BMW is more reliable. People always complain about VW and not so much about BMW

the passenger side engine mount needs to be taken out to get the timing belt off the car. there is literally no way around it. the timing belt will not come off if you dont.

Lol if you dropped the motor to to the t-belt on an AEG you shouldn't be working on VWs.
And if you think AEGs are bad...try doing a t-belt on a 1.8T...esp. in a Beetle.

lol...I'd say if you were looking for reliability, you def. failed...BUT, with that said, you got one of the most reliable VWs, hahaha it looks good.
