You should do what I did to my miata and raise the engine. I just used two washers on each of the mounts on the subframe. It raised it enough that it sat just a tad higher than the cross member in front. I could bottom out pretty often and no issues

ive been planning to do that for a while now, just havent had time nor the motivation (too lazy haha)
