Looks like a very cool project, the mk2 Countrys are so cool so i can`t imagine how cool a mk5 country can look.

Hey there, a bit busy at work! I alao decided to sell off some parts that will not be needed for the build before continuing the project! Will keep you updated.

That's a clean car indeed. Ours should be more like the Mk2 Country when finished, looking a bit tougher.

Vw Mk5 Country Gti Part 1: Taking the head off.
Hey guys, this week was a bad one for me. Due to food poisoning it's been a slow one. I was in the process to take the head off the engine when it hit.
Luckily, I have this video to proof it. I'm afraid I did / do not have the strength to go through the photos nor to write a better update for this build, so please enjoy:

I've only ever seen 1 offroad mk5 golf, and it was awesome. I'll look forward to seeing how you get on with this.
