Never been a big fan of Gettas (or Gora for you UK lads) but this one pulls it off cause there is enough madness going on to support it. I have a MKIV Jetta myself, but no where near the level of yours. I am always impressed with the UK scene. Keep it up on your side of the pond.

Got some new fenders, bonnet and lights from manbacks breaker mk4, Reflex <3, however new arches means rolling time.

Got a heat gun from a mate



and some other choice tools.....




This happened in the short time driving the car with new wings, i had raised the car about an inch and a half to avoid rubbing but was still not enough obviously :bang:




So after some gentle heat getting built up in the arches i used the jack handle and some height control with the 3 ton jack to get quite a good roll on the arch.





happy with this as a temp measure, but need to take the arch liner tabs off the top of them, more aggressive roll with a proper arch roller and finally a wee bead of tiger seal or something to seal the lip then ill fire a wee bit touch up pen for any cracks in the inside lip.

after the arches were rolled, the bottle of medicine was rolled out.....

I must admit i h4te golf fronts on the bora as well, but the US front and the lows just seem to make it work.
