    thanks for your replies guys!

here are some before/after pics of the Azev's, just wanted to show you them because its nothing interesting happening with my car at the moment.

here is what they looked before the "rebuild"

first i grinded them, then I filled them aluminum filler, they really needed some love!

    then I primed them

after that i sprayed em' with crystal silver clearcoat. finshed
here's a pic of my brothers E30 with the AZEV's

This will make an excellent first car. Those Recaros are so comfy you won't believe it, a buddy of mine had em in his Golf. Excited to see what happens with this.

Schade dass du keinen Lochkreis mit 5x100 hast.. hab hier 17" BBS RX228 liegen die ich nicht los bekomme..

in love with the black taillights

ordered some black original Hella headlights for 25€. I love the difference!

that's what he is looking right now, got the temporary wheels on now (they're 6x15 all around, bought them with the car. )
need to buy some 17s and new trunk - asap

    Have fun with it.

But i recomend not going for TA Technix. Heard bad things from quite a few people..

    [german sets in]
kauf dir lieber ein normales Gewindefahrwerk und lass es per Einzelabnahme eintragen. Mit Einzelabnahme darfst du tiefer drehen als im Gutachten stehen und das Gewinde voll ausnutzen.

after "rebuilding" the AZEV's i realised that the wheels are too big for the car, because of the offset.. initial error..

in the meantime i ordered some coilovers from TA Technix, they are probably the cheapest and most uncomfortable on the market, but hey: the theme of the story is low budget

after 4 days of waitng they arrived, after that me and a friend installed them - the Golf is now 70mm lower than before, and I love that fact!
