This is only my second project surprisingly! i have motivation to get it out of the garage so my car can get back in though.
Unfortunatly had a little bit of a setback- got the front windshield in and it cracked as the last bit poped in.
Went to the wreckers to get a new one and funnily enough carrying it out the the car with the dude that worked there that one cracked too! Now just waiting for a brand new one to be shipped to me.
Replaced one of the tires and booked the inspection for the 7th next month.
Hit it with the pressure washer to get all the flicked bits of polish off and gave it a good waxin'. I'm soooo glad to be finished with the polishing and paint!
Decided that we are going to keep the Alloys thats on it as they are really starting to grow on me. Thinking of getting them powdercoated in gold and throwing some lower profile tires on it. sadly the lowering won't happen until early next year at the moment.Last edited by Flare1911; 01-31-2021, 05:39 PM.

Shift Bushings and window rubbers finally arrived! Decided to tackle the shift bushings as i haven't really played with too much mechanicly with the car yet - Really easy fix and it actually shifts and stays into gear.
All the upper trims are in, waiting for the lower trim clips to arrive.
The window rubber trims were a bitch to get in - ended up using sealant to glue the window into the rubber and then bending the trims back to shape bit by bit. Still a little wavy but nothing a little rubber mallet and patience can't help.
Really hoping to have it on the road by the end of the month.Last edited by Flare1911; 01-31-2021, 05:39 PM.

Cheers everyone.
I'm really starting to get a little attached to the car! I'm not wanting to give it back to my partner now! Luckily I drive us everywhere
Haven't been up to much but making the paint look pretty - Didn't get much done on that either this weekend as a friends birthday turned into a two day drinking binge. As the panels get polished i'm putting all the trims and parts on when i can. I do have to replace pretty much all the trim clips now.

Its a lot less hassle getting it over and done with in one sitting rather than spraying panel by panel.
Thanx for the answer. Seems nice for a "quick lick of paint"! :-)
