Destroying a "classic" car. 77 catalina.

So there was a skate contest today. Destroyed my hip didnt place and didnt get anything done. Sick. I would love to lower this thing. The rear is super easy. Its a 4 link coilsprings and shocks. But the front is dumb. Its got an a arm on top and a control arm on bottom that doesnt have shims or anything. So if i dump it right now it will have positive camber. So im not too sure on what to do. It might have a few shims on top i can remove but that only goes so far. So maybe lengthening the lowers? Or just make my own. Im not sure yet. Ill throw it up on the lift tomorow when i get to work. If anyone has any ideas about the camber or knows anything about these cars send help.

I think that just having a Catalina just pisses people off. It's one of the cars that Ford enthusiasts wish we could all forget. Would love to see this thing outrun a mustang. Keep it unassuming looking though.

Yeah i would to. This thing literally cant get put of its own way. The 301 was like the worst motor ever made. But pontiac did put a 400 in it which would have been cool. Im just trying to find a motor thats worth putting into it.

So... any plans at all? What do you mean destroy it? If your goal is to offend as many people as possible, swap a BEAMS 3SGE from an altezza and slam it on some small wheels that are neon green or pink and leave the paint how it is. Maybe sticker bomb a fender

So i own a decent little catalina and i guess im gonna destroy it. Unless you wanna buy it. But anyway its a two owner car was in the same family since it was new. I have reciepts for like everything that has ever been done to it. It cant get out of its own way 301 v8. Th200 trans. 105000 miles. I like it. Its gonna get a motor. A big nasty one. Anyway im gonna need some ideas on a few things. More of that to come.
