I've been lurking Stanceworks for a while so I decided to make an account and post progress of my car. Nothing too crazy because I'm broke but I'm still trying lol. Let the story roll!
Started off in an '03 WRX, tuns of fun and abuse until it lost compression and instead of dealing with the headache I sold it. Man do I miss that car.

Needed a car asap and with nothing specific in mind I looked at craigslist. I saw a nice looking m3 for $7500 with only 104,000 miles and I couldn't pass it up. I went to go look at it, the shocks were all blown but I got a price I couldn't resist so I said fuck it and that's where it all started.

I kind of miss the OEM look
From there I didn't do much, I installed fog lights and modified the exhaust with two 3" pipes from the cats back to Magnaflow "DTM Style" exhaust tips.

Then I hit ice on the highway that fell off a semi trailer. Then a week later I got rear ended.
After that it was almost a year of daily driving and not much action.

Bought some style 5's to refinish, they've been sitting for about a year now. Hopefully I finish them soon

Re-did my headliner and pillars in suede

Sitting pretty on a dolly after the rear brake lines rusted through

Girlfriend bought me DJ Auto's for christmas, modified them a little.

Meyle lower control arms + AKG polyurethane control arm bushings, Meyle tie rods and 5mm rack spacers. Didn't increase lock by much but I'll take it.

My shock tower decided to morph into male genetalia

Now that we are up to speed, three weeks ago I purchased Stance coilovers and got her sitting a little lower. More coming soon

A lot of boring maintenance stuff along the way like a blow motor, o2 sensor etc. but that's just normal BMW stuff. I'm planning on keeping this car for a long time so I'll keep updating this as I slowly make it how I want it to be
Thanks for reading, I'll be surprised if someone reads this all the way through, lol.
