I have never understood why the 1.8t's didn't come with real leather like the 2.8's. It seems like a huge number of the pleather seats have tears in the drivers seat. Weird choices by Audi aside, I love avants and can't wait to see this progress.

Reminds me of my silver B5 sedan project! I really need to clean my climate control buttons too, when it gets cold they get stuck so I had to WD40 them as a bandaid until i get the chance to actually take stuff apart haha. Can't wait to see where you take this!

So y'all know I like to paint stuff.

The rear bumper was pretty scuffed up from normal wear and tear I'm guessing. So I fixed that.

    Before

    After

More exciting things soon. Coils are on the way!

To stay on the cosmis wheel trend with my Audi wagons. A good friend is the head of cosmis usa, recently nudged the idea of carrying 5x112 wheels. So I will have the first set in 8-10 weeks.

    More soon hopefully!
Those look great...Id definitely be interested in getting a set for my B6 Ultrasport if Cosmis decide's to stock them!

Got an eBay rs4 grill cause the old stock one was tired and faded.

Spent about 6 hours detailing, got a lot of the surface scratches out. Some paintless dent removal is in my very near future.

Almost all of my climate buttons had reached critical sticky phase, so I did minor surgery to clean out the 17 years of dust and oil.

AJL and AEB difference is in kW's. AJL have 132 kW but AEB 110 kW. Small differences in ECU & turbo pressure. That's all.

Haha i will, after driving it for two days, I suspect ill be keeping this around for a while. everything works on it, runs amazing and already more fun to drive than the allroad.

I ended up just going with a b6 a4 1.8t which I am very happy with. I had a few wagons I was considering but finding a decent one of those is just as hard as well.
