So first things first il introduce myself and my cars

Im From Sydney Australia - Where the 'Car Scene' is run by 15-16 year olds bag on your car yet they don't have a licence yet, and people bag on your car yet they drive an ES Lancer with a canon and stickers plastered all over

Im currently in my final year of school
I'm 17
I'm apart of the Rural Fire Fighting Service
I'm going to join the State NSW Fire Fighting Service when I'm 18 (Age Restriction)
I will be opening my garage in a few years time

This was my first car
a 1978 MK1 Golf GLS - poo brown - The Turd
Great fun car but it was stolen in January and i wasn't able to track it down, so its gone forever until i buy another one and rebuild Turd 2.0
was a 1.8L
had a 2.0L from a mk3 that i built with a turbo setup ready for it - since then i have sold the engine

So now i own a 2003 Tornado Red 24v VR6 4Motion 6speed Bora/Jetta
got all the stuff the americans dream of

so il show you where I'm up to at the moment

The day i had it arrive, i bought her for $9.5k at 166,000km.
all self paid, i work hard for the things i want.

Clean woodgrain interior with all leather seats and trim

i also have a set of Rays VolkRacing CV Pros
16x8.5 with step up lips to a 17x8.5
haven't measured my offset as the wheels aren't ready to go on yet, but i know the offset is stupid as f uck
When i first got them

After a quick clean up and new hardware bolts

now on the car they will look fresh

Now as I'm rebuilding the wheels
paint stripper came out
and polishing my lips by hand
and getting the centres sandblasted and primed and then il spray them myself

They're getting there, will be on the car properly soon
also I'm getting $500 FK Coilovers as they're cheap easy and i don't care lol does the job for a high school build, and as i get paid about $240 a week its not a big budget

so i got bored and cleaned up the bay a little as well

the carsforhope sticker is close to my heart after 4 years of suffering depression and going down the worst direction and i regret some stuff i did but I'm glad I'm here to today, and i also keep it after my mate Killed himself last year and its nice to have there as a reminder to me that i support a good cause !!!
if you think you need help ask out, don't like loosing mates!!!

so after owning the car for while now, i did the oil pan lol

that got fixed and I'm getting engine mount spacers

the car was straight piped for a while

i now have an exhaust welded up and sounds good!!
will upload a video soon of it with a launch

so far thats it for now, il keep updating this thread on a weekly basis and whenever I'm doing work!!
