Today was a good day! As the summer heat is coming we finally had a cloudy day that I could work in, so bolted a stud up on these wheels!

Doh! The back of the wheel hits the wall of the well...without measuring yet I've come up with new specs too start building them too (will obviously get measurements and get everything worked out exactly to what I need) but for the moment here's what I've worked out
    Fronts
    Currently: 18x8.5 +45
    New: 18x10 +12

    Rear
    Currently: 18x9.5 +45
    New: 18x11 +18

Still on the hunt for coilovers! Will get these springs chopped tomorrow...

It's got potential....I always loved(and still do) 850R wagons, and you're right the 5cyl sounds awesome....it's the main reason I bought an XR5 turbo.

I think your estimate of needing to spend $3k on those wheels is way off. Even with 4 new lips and 4 new barrels you should be able to do it for less.

There is coilovers I can purchase, however I'm still working which I want to run, and because I **** waiting on deliveries trying to find the closest set, at the moment the main priority is these wheels

No I haven't done the new stud pattern just bolted on with one (not sitting on the ground)
As you can see just by how it looks there, I need atleast these specs
    18x11 +18
    18x10 +12 (fronts)

I made the budget 3k too allow for any screw ups, as I'm going through the whole process myself (not including powder coating)

    Hey Guys!
Fresh from Australia and ready to mix things right up, some will love, a lot will ****, in the end, why create something you don't like?!?

Some background info! I own a 96 Volvo 850, it's auto...non turbo and front wheel drive! I picked this up a few months ago after needing a car from a lovely old couple that owned it since new, I left it stock and drove it for a long while (probably a month if I'm honest)
So far here's what I've done (don't have photos of these things as they're not too important...)

    - Rear muffler delete (5 pots sound amazing!)
    - Rear springs chopped (3 coils just tucks 205/60r15s)
    - a mate painted my wheels smurf blue...because why not?
    - Upgraded injectors
    - Upgraded fuel rail

Now! Here is where we are up to!
    I purchased a set of genuine work rezax 3 piece wheels! The specs are;
    18x8.5 +45
    18x9.5 +45

There's another 3k or so too be spent getting the wheels too proper spec

These are in pretty good nick!

I'm waiting on a shop to let me know if they can re drill my hubs too 5x114.3 for ease of wheels...
Unfortunately not much else has happened and I'm waiting on cash to order barrels and lips for the wheels! However, I'm looking into finding coilovers here in Aus which is proving difficult!

Here's a photo dump! I'll let pictures speak for themselves!

    Let the cleaning process begin...

    The real excitement!

Working...
