A garage guardian - Nissan Laurel

he should definitely run those on his e30! and your laurel looks fuckin awesome man! great job so far!

Right; got some tyres off my last pair fitted, then put them on the front and switched the 8u.5's to the rear!
mission and a half, the tyres are a size to big (I should really go 195/50) but for now it will stay. plus i think the fronts need to 'weather' in and get dirty so they match the rear colour, they are the same wheel just really clean, so hopefully they turn a bit darker when i start driving it a bit!
but theres much less camber in the rear, a little bit lower all around, overall quite happy with it!
And then after that, i test fitted my 9J -13 pair on my friends e30 - perfect in the rear, fronts way to big. they sit nice though for a bagged car! If anyone knows the easiest way to get from e30 4 x 100 to 5 x 114.3 - please chime in! I think it would be e39 5 stud convert, then redrill hubs/rotors to 5x 114.3 from 5x120?
He should really run them, its very cool.

A boring and somewhat backwards update in the way of stanceworks - my SMALLER wheels arrived.
im quitting on the 9J's as they are only going to lead to police ****** on me repeatedly where I live and I have just spent 6 months riding the bus because of that in the last car; no fun. So no big wheels. maybe if i ever go widebody I will chuck them back on!

have not done much really to the laurel.
Bought a few new cool things. Bought some more wattas from the japanland;
16 x 8 +25, 5x114.3. these will go on my front and the current 8.5's will be put to the rear. the cars cool and all with huge negative offset 9's but this is meant to be a mint street car; traction for driving is somewhat needed and the current -23123134235235 degrees just isnt going to help that along. I will be keeping the 9's though - might go N style flares and such next year and paint it all, who knows!
]
So they should be here in about a week or two!
Have just been working on one of my other toys as of late, changing it back from a flat track setup that was wildly inappropriate for the actual day back to street legal. this thing is the most fun you will ever have on the road, everyone should buy motards, its a good choice.
Basically all the toys are just waiting for my to get my license back after having it suspended in a month so once that happens more cool stuff will appear here. like nice scenery shots and such. probably a lot more breaking of parts as well.

But I did find an '89 with an RB20DET/5 speed/79k on the clock here in the US.
We're starting to be able to get all the fun cars now

Right! pretty boring update; but these all will be for a while I think.
I just tidied up the bay today, all the old rusted bolts holding fenders/power steering res/fuse box/wiper motor etc were all really shitt, so I went through and measured them all and replaced with stainless steel allen key headed items. much neater now and nothing rattles anymore! Perfect.
And just some full shots to fill some space.

240kW (~320HP for those who only deal in powerful horses) @ 20psi on E85. should be more than enough for fun on the street! Now im just waiting for my license to come back as I have lost it on suspension until mid november!

It got so close!
It was pushed up to the dyno, started, pushed on and strapped down.
When they went to start it again, it wouldn't in typical nissan fashion and tuner has a footy match to go watch - so tomorrow it will get a looking at and sorted out.

And sr's are like the dirty step down from RB's supposedly so there isn't much going on for the general SW public. I think that's where it's going wrong...

Just waiting to hear back from tuner still... Hopefully today he will let me know what it's made on the dyno.
