OK, First victim on the CLK since my decision to keep it:

    Door/window module passenger door.

    Symptoms:
*Passenger door window doesn't drop down when opening door.
*Passenger door window doesn't work in its whole.
    *Door doesn't lock anymore.

So, plans: remove door module and send it to the nearest chip/computer repair guy

This is what it looks like:

    Also:

My desperate attempt to fix the module by myself in the workshop @work...

Juke has been fixed as well:

On the way back home to the Netherlands again, I ran across theseguys from GB. Nice fellas. They where on their way to Amsterdam to probably buy 'certain goods' that are only legal in Holland. Go figure

    OK Cya

must have missed it in the whatsapp group, but i'm kinda surprised you didn't follow trough with selling this one since you where so in love with the S600 L. not a bad choice of course to keep the CLK since it'll look absolutely perfect with the right muffler tips on it.

after all the distraction with the S600 and that second w214, i really hope you can finish the small parts on this one and keep your focus 100% on that damned w124 already.

edit: unless you're gonna rocket bunny this shit, then i'm up for it

    But no V12 biturbo unfortunately.
I called off the buyer for my CLK last saturday evening. I could not sell the CLK without a feeling of regret.

I was actually preparing the car for selling. But during the process of finishing all the little things that were still pending, I fell in love again. Especially when I asked my brother in law to drive down the road past my house, full throttle.
I had never experienced my car from outside. It convinced me to keep it

Out of joy ,I just took it to Paris last night; drove like a dream! I'm in love again

10L per 100 km average (23.5 mpg for you imperial faggots) for a 5.0 V8 is not too shabby if you ask me.

Normally It would take me 5h and 20mins to reach Paris. Now I did it in 4h an 47mins.

What the board computer said when I arrived:

    "Home"

The temporary exhaust I had to fab last night.
The Carlsson muffler doesn't fit anymore because of the carbon diffuser. So now I drive without it (what a shame). But the hot exhaust fumes blew against the spare wheel well, which is plastic and started to desintegrate

    Calipers finally done properly:

    Cheers!
