She fits, and rusty hinge repaired.

    Strip insulation

Scrap and clean after 8 hours.
Heatgun, dynabrade rubber eraser wheel, scraper, prepsol, and not I can scuff.

    Ran out of light.
Couple of dirt knibs and dust on the underside, but that's expected.

Lots more blocking , primer and guide coat.

Anytime you think you have a concept of how long something is going to take... think again especially on a restoration.

Oh I just have to peel the insulation off, then I can edge the parts.
Yeah well six hours later I got this one done.

Still needs to be sanded and primed

These both should be in primer tonight.

Now it's time to get her ready for a final block and prime.

Pull the doors, trunk & hood and jam them.

    Reinstall block and prime.

    Then sand & paint!

    Lots of stripping.

I thought this was a cool picture...

Having it on a lift... is so much easier to work
    Lots and lots of bodywork.
Every contour, panel and line has to be made.
Lots of blocking and sanding a head.

Matt Damon is going to take me to the promise land though!

You beat me to the punch hahaha.

2 Coats of PPG Epoxy DP 90

Then the inside was Jammed with PPG Deltron Base which was activated with Hardener. Gives the inside floor a much better appearance then the traditional POR crappy look.
No need to spend hours applying bodyfiller and hammering out all of those dents. Which are covered. Next for the interior is to apply generous amounts of Sound Deadening material.

As for the undercarriage it was Seam Sealed as well, and then some rustproofing materials as well as it was topcoated with 3m Schutz applied with the 3m application gun.

Next looks like it's time to start the hammer dolly work, then filler work.

    Another view!
