haha I couldn't figure out how to get the plastic threads off the hex caps so I could strip them to polish, so I figured I would leave it. I love how it turned out!

Its been awhile, so here's a bit of an update!

Got some new goodies for the RSs

Cleaned up all the bolts so they're ready when the faces come in

Coworker had this bad boy laying around at home, picked it up for 100 doll hairs

This is now the official "car parts room" of the house haha. Along with all my stuff waiting to be put on the car, my brothers parts for his mk4 GTI (VRsex) are just hanging out. Put in a badgeless grill (no hood notch just yet), waiting for good weather to put on the Racelands

Been busy during finals week, the new lips came in! Going to powder coat the faces white, leaving the hex caps and logos the same for now

In other news, I have the spare wheel from my e34, so I decided to polish it. Probably going to do the lips and top of the face, but not sure what to do with the pockets. They're being a p.i.t.a so I don't know if I want to paint, or spend a ton of time to polish them.

Not sure if its just the collars are stuck or what, but a good friend just shared his trick that he usually uses if you plan to resell the coils or use them again if you have time. Cut through the collar as much as you can and then use a chisel to split them off. He said that really helps if its just them that or seized or you destroyed them trying to move them since they are cheap to replace. Not sure if just releasing the tension would help the rears or not.

I know I saw your car at southernroots my car was up at the dirty13 booth there. I had my BBS style 5s on it then. Have you let your coils soak in coke? I know I have had a few friends do that to free up their coils.

Haven't really updated this (nothing picture worthy). Still having problems getting the lips here, and considering some BC coilovers. Probably going to get the extreme drop kit since the Ksports didn't offer anymore low

Should look pretty sweet on the rebuilt bbs wheels. Always neat to see an "uncommon" car being worked on!

So coilovers are stuck for good. Gonna have to buy all new rears. Started rounding off the locking collars

    Currently what I'm dealing with

    The front came apart easy

    The rears are very stubborn.
    I've used:
    -Aero kroil
    -PB Blaster
-50/50 mix of acetone and ATF

Sneak peek of new wheel parts (oooooh, shinyyyyy)
