Thanks! My builds kind of at a stand still right now because I can't decide what direction to go with it. Im leaning towards coilovers and wheels and then cleaning it up with other appearance mods. My big dilemma is what coils to get to get me as low as possible

really not sure what direction to go with this car. on one hand i can wrx swap it but thats a lot of time and work and itll be fairly expensive. or i can just do coilovers and wheels and be small other appearance mods.

i have a lead on a wrx motor for $300 for everything from oil pan to intercooler. ill have to buy a turbo and the heads are likely to be bad.

so maybe this will actually get people interested in my build-

i recently came across a pretty good deal so if all works out financially im going to be doing an ej205 swap from an 05 wrx into my wagon. which would take priority over making my car pretty and getting it low.

so im thinking of shaving the key hole on my trunk and then some other things on my car once i get the funds. but im not sure if i want to attempt it myself or have someone else do it. i have no body work experience or welding experience nor do i know off the top of my head where to get any of the tools necessary. it would be a learning process for me but im thinking i may be better off just having a professional do it.

    anyone have any suggestions?

I did really want a "better set", but since I don't keep cars long at all, the other set lasted 2-3 years, and I was on a super tight budget, I figured they are fine.

If you want to try to free up the other set I have lemme know. Ive been hanging on to them so I can work on them sometime so I can sell them for a little more.
i could always try it out and see what i could do with them. i imagine theyre wrx fitment so i would have to swap top hats to make them fit im not 100% on what id have to do exactly.

anyway have some news since ive posted earlier today

so today i purchased this rare edm hvac trim in a marble finish from a vendor on another subaru forum. To my knowledge this piece is one of 2 in the states. woohoo for rare parts

so excited to get this in the mail and put it in my car. pics to follow upon installation but for now heres a picture from the original for sale thread.

this is a good start to my long term goal of making this a very clean super detail oriented show car. im only 20 and im in college so itll be slow going, but im looking to the future with this car.

I was thinking racelands originally (i know whats everyones thinking "fuck racelands theyre junk) but my main goal is just to get low honestly. its my daily driver i wont be tracking this car. but a good friend of mine whos opinion i value highly sent me a photo of a very fucked up raceland coil from his friends wrx and that has discouraged me.

im just trying to find a good budget coil which is becoming easier said than done for these cars.

sorry for the long paragraphs lately with no photos. winter isnt time for much progress.
