Hello, Stance Works
My name is Dennis and I'm part owner of "Top Flight Autoworks ". We are base out of fort Lauderdale Florida, I recently picked up a mk5 project car for my wife. We plan on turning it into a shop car for her. It stock for right now, I started shaving and molding the bumper today. Below I attach some pictures. We hot stapled it
This is what the hot staples look like, for those who are wondering
laid the mesh on the back side
He the heated stapler gun if you we're wondering
We didn't use bondo. We used plastic bumper repair
Quick vedio on how strong the staples keep it intact
Sorry for the quality of the video. We sprayed some heavy duty adhesive.
Here's a picture of my old srt8. That we built I recently sold it.
we smoothed and sanded the plastic repair down.
we let it sit and dry then added a slim coat of polyester to cover up any small pin holes.
We sanded it down so more and primed it.
here's the finish project and how it look on the car. now off to the rear bumper.
