So what are you gonna do for exhaust? Those open shorties are robbing you of some power my dude. Also I imagine more than five minutes in that would be exhausting on the ol' ear drums.

I daily drove my open header 5.0L e30 for over a year haha. Plenty of 4+ hour trips.

It's not as loud as you'd imagine.

Still, this 5.0L v8 is 50 times higher on the "cool" scale! Nice going!!

Maybe easier but much more expensive than what I did.

Pretty much got the timing set.

Just waiting for an ABS unit so I can finish the brakes and clutch. Then mount up the throttle cable.
