Curious - how come the back of the volvo dosnt seem to have any damage?

because the volvo is a literal brick. but there is damage, the back glass is shattered, taillights are busted, and the bumper is messed up too.
I think it didn't get as busted because it just kind of ramped up into the trunk of the subaru.

He got arrested and a dui the night it happened. I'm hoping that the dui wrecks his life for years to come.
