Cleaned the boat and redded my tails yesterday, looks ok but the shit vinyl was shit so they're still slightly orange might try throw another layer on, paint them instead or just harden up and order some proper ones from japan.

The first vinyl I got off eBay made mine slightly orange too but than I got a some from bluebatoverlays and they're nice and red. Forgot what kind of vinyl he uses (just remember it was 3M).

I can't tell from your pics but do you have any dimples on your fenders from the roll?

The mx5 used to be mine haha, I had a thread on here at the time. Had big plans for it, then changed my mind & sold it to luke in January so I could get back into vw's.

Went out and lowered the front a little more today, have about 40mm clearance from ground to my exhaust now so that's it until I lift it. Pics to come

Did a little more on the arches, lowered a little more, went to work



Got the wheels on, still need to dial it in. Went for a drive and no rubbing, banging or falling to bits so far

Did some work on the car in the weekend. Put my rear seats back in to go on a road trip to the coast, lathered them up with some leather conditioner. Cleaned up my wheel wells, just need to pressure wash the dirt off





Then arches, little dissapointed at the poke, was thinking there'd be more but oh well. Made it a little more delicate trying to roll the lip without any pull. Cut the inner liner tabs, smoothed and painted, heated the liner to stretch it back to original position...

I tried to measure how much room I have before the upper arm hits the strut tower and think it's about 15mm. At this height with the coils set hard I think I can get by without cutting the strut towers, if not 45/40 profile but we'll see.
