keep the style 5's and space like everyone else said. spacers are cheap on ebay - call up Motorsport hardware and get yourself a bolt kit... will look so much better instead of wasting time w carbon fiber grills, plastidip...

why not just lower it some more and refinish the style 5's? I say save money and do it right the first time instead of spending it on what you don't need or momentarily want.

This. All those little mods add up - money that could be used elsewhere to do things right.

Love this so far. Black faces on polished lips for style 5's is tried and true, I ran that setup on my Jag when I was your age. I've been feeling E39's lately also. Maybe I'll see this boy at H20, keep an eye out for a black E12 with jersey plates

You should think of getting some style 95 7 series wheels, they look killer on e39s

I don't like the 95's and i don't have money for new wheels so i'll be sticking to my style 65's

Nice progress! I have a black -98 5-speed E39 (only a 523i tho) that i'm thinking of dropping belly first on some E39 M5 Wheels, this will be good inspiration. I got it earlier this summer as my second car after selling my mk2 golf.
