Ended up letting the bobber go to a friend. I'm going to be putting a lot of freeway miles down daily, so I had to make a change. Luckily, I was able to get my hands on a very low milage R6. It was in my neighbors garage (sitting for over 4 years, last registered in 2004). He let it slide on the freeway and just never fixed it. I ended up getting it for a steal and have been working on it the past week or so. Pretty happy with it so far, very fun to ride.

haha yes! High school jams. I like bringing back music from memories of the build and the first C10 often had it playing.Originally posted by CubbyChowder View PostOh man, that song brings me way back and reminds me of a very specific time of my life. Sophomore year of high school haha, thats crazy.
Anyways, stoked on this!
Thanks man. Considering I started winging it with a mig to now only using tig and doing intricate work, I'm pretty happy wit the progression. This build should be pretty interesting once the typical rust clean up is done.Originally posted by Reuvers View Postanother driveway project of yours: i'm definately in for this!
And I am amazed by the massive improvement in your welds shown @ the top of this page in comparison to your first welds in your beemer thread! Amazing to see what you've learnt.
Loving the project yet again.
I like that concept. I'm not quite ready for that spectrum yet. A simple turbo diesel was on the list, but it's leaning towards an LS swap at this point.Originally posted by LoweredCreditials View PostPut a 12-Valve Cummings in it. That'd be tits.
Very clean! I always appreciate the kind words and hope you get back on a bike!Originally posted by dj4jag View PostLove the Bobber! I built this a couple years back, wish I never sold it :/ It was a Vulcan 800 with a blue collar Bobber kit and painted Sunburst Orange
I've never posted on StanceWorks, but I had to give credit to your build! Awesome work!

Back to the build stuff.
Tomorrow... fingers crossed... the engine will come out. I'm finally caught up on orders, lots of welding and I'm ready to start welding up the truck.
