Chasing electrical problems sucks, I should know. Good progress on the civic man, just keep at it!

So fuse blew again. WTF! This was making me mad so I ended up just tracing the wiring and I found a plug that connects the main harness to the back end harness and I found a broken off wire plus the plug has a bunch of corrosion. disconnected the plug and the fuse didn't blow. this better be the fix.

Thanks kyle.
I might as well be in japan it's so jdm. thanks dude.
I had some window weld type stuff and I want to get nicer engine mounts than the oem ones you can buy but I needed a mount for now so I just filled it with the glue stuff and it's drying now. It should hold until I get the money for a nice mount.
sorry about the crappy pic on that one haha.

this stuff is supposed to be really strong.

Got an update for everyone.
I finally figured out the tail light issue. It was the pigtail in the back that the harness connects to and splits up the lights. I disconnected it and it didn't blow a fuse anymore

I also stripped a bunch of random wires out of the dash.

I learned that it was in a front end crash but I'm fine with it cause I'm planning on jdm swap far down the road.

I literally took apart the whole under dash and most of the front to try and find this wire

This motor mount was completely shot.

I'm so glad I figured it out. Now it's time to clean it up and get it de-riced.

You might just be right. I checked the back bulbs because I was replacing them all and the third brake light bulb was blown, I haven't checked it with a new one but I'm going to try it tomorrow and hopefully it fixes so I can get on with this build.Originally posted by Queef|Chief View PostHas to be a short somewhere, just find it, ive even had a bad bulb short out as well and pop fuses

Well I did some more tearing apart of the dash and it seems this idiot liked using ghetto wiring and black taped splices with no soldering or anything so I got rid of all that shit and checked all my grounds and put a fresh fuse in and it blew AGAIN. I'm so pissed.
But I did find that the third brake light was burnt out and I'm wondering if this would be causing it?
