ej9 gone, New car! ep3 type r

so I've been saving up for a new car for the past few month but just couldn't decide what to go for. but finally decided and got an ep3 type r this weekend!







its fully standard and got 63k miles and full honda service history.

not sure on plans so far. But definitely no budget coilovers again haha

Is your car a 98 produced in the last couple months of the year? Is the front end swapped to a newer style? Just asking cause it looks like you have a 99-00 front bumper and all that, but have the 96-98 dash? Just asking out of curiosity. Also color matched grill looks waaaaay better

Nah its a 99 model as far as I'm aware, a T registration plate is 1999 in my country. not sure about the dash cos the car was pretty much standard when I first got it haha, unless early facelifts had the earlier dash? not too sure. And thanks! just need to get my hands on some new mesh for it.

small update, got the grill colour coded the other week, but i had to cut out the mesh cos it was actually part of the grill and I dont like the look of them when the mesh is painted too.

Got an update, got my bumper smoothed last week, and got some neo chrome wheel nuts for cheap at the fast show at santa pod this weekend.







looks better than leaving the studs in and just moving the plate, like what most other people seem to do!

Small update. Got a steering wheel the other day and just fitted it today. Its just a cheapy one from mcgill motorsport. But for the price its ideal. Sturdy too, unlike them horrible ones off ebay haha.

got bored and cut my gearstick the other week haha. (excuse the mess)

no major update, put my alloys back on and took my camera out. bit crap though cos I left my flash at home.








looks much better with the splitter on. hopefully my bumper will be getting painted and getting rid of them horrid drill holes, I tried lowering the back when I changed the wheels but only managed a few mm, need to get the backbox off to get some more room.

Ended up ordering a mugen rep splitter the other day and it turned up this morning!
Got to painting it when i got in from work. Its just going gloss black for the time being because my cars colour paint is a chew on to find and im gonna have to order it online at some point.





Just needs a few touch ups and a good polish cos its looking abit dull at the minute haha.
only have these 2 crap phone pics. Will get some better ones when its fitted
