Live update - stripping down the old loom to map out new loom. Whoever decided to wrap wiring in an electrical tape-like adhesive has a special "Forrest Gump" kind of brain. And should retire from life.

Spending some weekend down time getting all pissy at wires. Luckily rum and coke keeps me forever loosie goosie.

So, today after work i went and bought some Xmas presents for my folks and while i had the opportunity ducked into Autobarn and did some shopping for myself (because i love me). It's time to start seriously thinking about fucking up my electrics and rebuilding my loom myself. I say fucking up my electrics because murphy's law has never applied to one person more than it does to me.

It was take your nasty ass wiring to work day today.

And then it was blow a tonne of money on something that isn't fun or edible day today.

In case anyone was curious, im not wearing pants when i took that photo, It's too f*cking hot tonight and i strongly believe pants are optional and not a necessity in summer.

    P.s. i f*cking love mini M&M's

Have done little to it recently, just gathering parts and getting small things painted to pretty up the bay.

i leave you with this [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQ8ViYIeH04"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQ8ViYIeH04[/ame]

Whatever you say is irrelevant, and if you need me you'll find me at the combination Pizza Hut & Taco Bell.

Another Pic dump, old days when my mate (prev owner) got a few rascally piccies.

& one of the car back with the stock bumpers... oh god.

Pretty shitty update, but i tucked the car under a tarp to stop looking at it (and the window seals are shit and it's been raining heaps) got the headlights/spark loom out and i've been researching how to re-make the loom, replacing everything with new high quality shit.

Here's a secret i'll tell ya'll, i'm utterly shit with electrics, im the guy who tried to put his plug leads back on to the spark plugs when the car was still on... twice. I know there isn't enough power in a car battery to kill me but playing with electrics still leaves all 6'4" bearded me in a crying mess at the sheer idea of being shocked. I'm simply useless at it, but that's subject to change, because i think i should man-up and learn!

Hopefully this week me and a mate and a few beers can take out the rest of the loom, label it all and prep for rebuild. I'm keen to have a clean, functional less-ghetto-as-all-fuck wiring loom in the car!

For the time being, here's an old photo of when the cheeky thing worked.

(p.s. yes the blacked out tail lights are long gone)

Thanks pal! Yeah it's pretty mean, from factory though it kinda looked crap, the chrome bars and mk1 chin spoiler makes it in my eyes
