Alright, nothing major, and I'm off to school again in a few days so this will be the last update for a while.

Lowered the car down a bit, road around like that for a month or so, but as I'm still waiting on the Koni's to be rebuilt, the Bilstiens had about 1/4" of travel until bottoming themselves out(metal, not bumpstop).

Looked cool, broke my lip and felt good to throw some sparks again.

    Aaaaand raised back up.

Got a Jaffster shift knob from a friend, and installed the second Corbeau. I don't know why they always look such a funky color in pictures, they are black haha.

This car see's many 5 hours trips to and from Pittsburgh, and on my last time coming home some dirt or something fell off the Semi- Truck in front of me and apparently shattered my driver's headlight lens I have some clear packing tape over it until I have the funds to replace it.

Got some foglights from a friend, need to create some simple brackets, I'll also be converting them to HID as well. These will be mounted much like the OEM ones underneath the bumper.

Currently now figuring out a solution to my header to oil filter/ oil cooler lines. I picked up a smaller filter used on the M10, and some heat resistant tape sheets. We'll see whatelse I can manage...

So while I was waiting at my friends house to run and get the new engine, I decided to tackle a few things that have always bothered me. While my carpet certainly needs a re-dye after a year or so of heavy use, the only two things making my interior "incomplete" anymore was the drivers side kick/ speaker panel and the knee panel.

So I went about installing those, just a few bolts and a world of difference!

So anyway, went and looked at the engine, bought it and brought it back to the house. It's a bit dirty, but it's (mostly) complete and the price from a good friend was right. It will be entirely refreshed( I **** to overuse the word "rebuilt") minus the very bottom end.

All that I really managed to get done last night was get it on the stand, remove the wiring harness and A/c condenser.

    So

New alternator and a spare, ruined Bosch one we had sitting around.

Impact made a quick job of removing the bolt from the old one, then some prying to remove the rest of the fan/ pulley assembly and it's on the new one!

Now just to swap the ground cable, super easy, one bolt. Didn't like how exposed and ratty the cable looked, so some wire wrap and half a minute later...

About half an hour later, It's in!

Now, does it all work? It does! (this is with HID's and CB radio on, as well as 2 amps and a phone charging)

Now, the day after doing this, heading to a small meet, a fairly loud, metal on metal click/ hitting noise started from my engine. Eh, valves out of spec, hadn't been done in a while, employed a friend who had done so many times before to take care of them.

After all that, it was still there. And getting louder with every drive, I started to look into things and it seems to be either VERY severe piston slap, or more likely, wrist pin failure/ knock. Going to pick a new engine up this weekend.

On the bright side, my new arrived, so there's that.

If this was in the UK there would be comments on tyre size as everyone likes to run the smallest size they can! But it just sits so perfectly and the little touches really make it!

    Awesome car!
Thanks so much! I love meaty setups.

Yeah I know, wheels aren't my taster either, but can't be spending money on new ones at the moment, thanks!
