And that brings us to current .... Sorry for the 10,000 posts.

Here is the last thing I have done on the car:

I picked up a Recaro sponsorship and ordered up a set of the leather pole position seats with red stitching

They ship out to me on the 8th so I should have them in the car the middle of this month.

Also put in some 5mm spacers up front:

Sent the car off to Riss Racing for some parts development:

Ended up coming out with some catless coated downpipes

    And new exhaust system:

Both of which still need to be installed.

After I got back from Bimmerfest I got the majority of the painted parts back on:

    New Challenge Car Front Lip:

No more ugly reflectors (euro fenders FTW)

... still need to put on the painted door handles, and the Cooper Gas Door, and painted headlight rings.

Bimmerfest came up before I could get the trim back so I rocked the car there in Blue Tape Fashion:

As you might have noticed in the pics above some of the trim is missing

I took off all the plastic trim plus the John Cooper Work Challenge Race Car Front Lip I picked up and dropped it off at the paint shop:

In the mean time I did my Valentine 1 Hardwire Install:

To help finish out the suspension I picked up some HSport upper and lower adjustable rear arms:

And to make putting the wheels on easier as well as an ability to run spacers I added a Texas Speed Works Stud kit:

    Next Up Wheels ...

Most people with Mini's seem to stick with cheap wheels like Rota's (no offense to anyone rocking them) but for this project I wanted something nice and totally different. So with that in mind I picked up some custom ordered CCW Classics in 18x8 +32 offset ... doesn't sound super aggressive but on the Mini its VERY flush.

    Test Fitting Brake Clearance:

Also while I was bored one day I came across a set of inexpensive Volks for track days:

and this is what they look like on a mini:

I have been whoring this car out on other forums so why not here

Ill give you guys a quick run down to get you caught up ...

Picked up a brand new Midnight Black JCW Cooper S

It started out looking like this:

I had the dealer install the John Cooper Works Aero kit before picking it up so tech that was my first mod.

Next mod was to get the car out of 4x4 mod, so working with the guys at BC Racing I got a set of their Type-BR coilovers.

    Fronts:

    Rears:

As well as picked up some other suspension items:

    Adjustable End Links:

    HSport Sway Bar:

    Coilovers Installed:
