what the fuck man ? with this big meaty tyres you cant go nearly low....

need some 195/40 in front and 225/35 for the rear, then you can go low without rubbing.

    nice start so far

Thanks man, I agree with you totally now, especially since they're 17s they'd just jack the car up too much and rub. I was surprised to find a couple companies do make 245/35/17 but for the price I might as well just get some 235s

Got a little bit done today since I had the day off due to traffic court (got my ticket dismissed ) and most importantly bc my gf was at work

Put my new back window in, instructions said it would take two but I was surprised to find I was able to knock it out in 45min by myself.

    Mucho better

And put a wheel together to test fit. Still want to paint the inner barrels black. Also having trouble deciding on tire sizes. I know I should run 215/40 on the 9.5s and 235/40 on the 10.5s but part of me wants a little bit more of a meaty/flush look to go with the performance parts im throwing at it. Hmmm....ill probably end up going with those sizes tho

I think i've seen your e36 around before. That's really a surprise that it had that much rust around here. Oh well you've got a nice slate now! too bad it's auto.

It's been a super busy week, haven't really had much time to actually do anything with the car. HOWEVER, its weird, I have this phobia I guess you'd call it where at restaurants, couches, etc I **** and cannot sit on seats with rips and the insides coming out and the seats in the car were complete trash. I have a best friend who can't touch corduroy, felt or, Styrofoam with out getting goose bumps so maybe its something like that.

Anywho I ripped out the back seats and driver's seat. I plan on running a roll bar or even a full cage so the back seats I definitely could care less about and thru an old sparco fixed back in for now.

Also replaced the front windshield that was cracked

And got a new back window that ill actually be able to see out of! Woot!

Noticed driving almost 4 hours today that she likes to drift around at high speeds when I hit dips/change lanes which I experienced in my e36 to be bad front control arm bushings so I yanked the lollipops with poly powerflex bushings out of the e36 for the e30. Hopefully knock those out tomorrow.

Cheers, I think ill have another one of my favorite IPA beers now and annoy my gf who is oh so into her Facebook right now. Cheers fellas

Thx guys. And im not quite sure, car fax showed the car was bought from the dealership here in NC.

So I got my centers back today. Picked them up from Paul at Dank Fest, a yearly stance show in Winston Salem. They came out looking great as I expected. He's done quite a few sets of wheels for cars that are in the scene.

A little back story on Mr. Ehrlich of Ehrlich Wheel Works, last time I saw him he was going thru a rough bout. His shop burned down in the night due to an electrical fire along with suddenly loosing his father all within a short period. When I went to visit I was stunned at the damage. But with his attention to detail and dedication hes already making the best of things and already hunting for a bigger shop.

Here was his M3 before with 18x10.5 squared RS on rotiform lips.

    And after

Damn shame, all those multi piece wheel lips/barrels/etc totally ruined

There's a fully built s52 in that picture with sunbelt cams :/
