Pulled the engine.... Did EVERY seal Possible, oh yea No more Slush box!

Decided I was tired of having mixed matched black body panels ( hood and door etc) So i got a local friend of mine to spray it E46 m3 JET BLACK.

New Front grill panel and New front bumper and support was must. Also a oem hood instead of the cheap china one previous own had put on.
(I noticed my vaders werent protected during this process..)

Got the car back! Ran out of paint so the top didnt get sprayed ... will be dropping it off on the 24th to finished the job in time enough for cars and coffee

hopefully this will solve my CEL issue swapping the auto for a 5 speed. Does anyone know if i need to remove the auto computer all toggether if I used this flashed ECU?

What I meant by polish, is to strip the paint off of them with chemicals, then use fine sandpaper to bring the metal to a shine. Then use polishing compounds for a reflective finish. I'm sure there is more information online if you look around.

I found a company here in houston that swears up and down they can blast the chrome off for 50$ a wheel... really considering this... Im at the point where i might a well just refinshed them myself once they're bear metal.

You usually can't polish a chrome wheel. The process to properly remove the chrome coating is expensive and only done by a few shops.

my old e46 was inspired by him! you know its funny ive been told to polish them.. paint them plastidip them (currently). when you say polish you mean? i guess i get polish and chrome finish confused. examples please from anyone with input on what i should do.

I saw a few things on youtube about guys mounting tablets in there e46's and e36's but I didnt want to chop cut or remove the OEM computer. SO i came up with this





Figure i'll just get a head unit that uses bluetooth for sound and use my 4g cell phone for wifi (web browsing and netflix etc)

Its legit I was wondering the same thing after I bought it. everything checks out though . I need to get the rear down some more but i think im running too meaty of a tire
