Nice. Look forward to seeing this progress. I want a coupe with a Silvia front. But I keep finding hatchbacks all day.

If I were getting a free respray and I was swapping parts over I would just completely strip the good shell and do a complete color change. Then it's like building a new car. Allowing you to really make it yours. Especially if you have a car to drive around while you build. Who knows, you might get a deal on a motor and goodies for it as you put it together.

BTW: This is coming from a guy that will buy a complete car for the wheels or motor and part the rest out.

I can assure you that im not one of them, and personally not my beer of choice. I saw the tap for sale already tapped for a nissan thread pitch so i picked it up. im sure you will be pleased by where the build is going then

Me too man! I loved my previous car. But I just got bored with it. I decided to take this on instead, and to be honest, I couldn't be happier with my decision. I found this car on craigslist and it too was priced pretty high. But it all is working out for me!

It's definitely gonna be a shit ton better once I'm driving a rust free car. Car might get a respray for free too! Probably gonna stay with green though :P lol.

I wish it was all mine sadly the only thing I could afford right now was the Silvia front and aero. Engine mods and rhd are something to do in the future. Well the rhd Idk if that'd ever happen hahaha. But thanks for the kind words! It's gonna get exciting real quick. Front end comes in next week!

Yea, my plan is to just keep it a simple and clean build. I did my first car the same way and I loved it!

thanks guys! i like the front end, but my thought process was, why put this round front end on such a square car... i feel like it just looks out of place. im in love with silvia fronts. only problem i have with the front im buying is it has the dual projector headlights, so im going to pick up the halogen bricks whenever i get the chance!

not too much to update from yesterday, but i did get my new radiator and 2 electric fans. i think it will look a lot cleaner without the massive engine fan in the bay.
