very cool car dude. you should definitely keep the 4 cylinder in it! they have some potential for sure. my dad raced hydroplanes when i was a kid, 2.5 litre class and we ran 2300 fords full balance and blueprint and port work, zoomie pipes etc. those motors would spin past 7500rpm no problem and make power all the way. no water pump on them in the boats either just forced water cooling from the hull!
that aside, i have always wanted a turbocoupe like you have here. Car looks great and you have put a ton of effort into it. its come a long way!

the 2.3turbo can handle more boost then a 5.0 can, I wouldn't bother swapping in a older 5L since the block usually cracks under boost

That's pretty gangster right there. With a hint of oldschool shatokan style. More please.

The car is definitely unique, I actually like it. Thats the only car I've also ever seen with seat covers that match the interior, and not some stupid flame design, or crazy yellow.

I liked the wheels more before you painted them.
Don't black out the trim, it looks classy chrome.
18's are going to be huuggeee.
But I 100% agree on keeping the 2.3 turbo. I've seen those motors make 500hp on a stock bottom end (they don't last forever when pushed that hard) but then if you build a bottom end you can make insane numbers.
It's really unique, so why would you want to take that away by putting a 5.0 in it?
You've done well so far.
I really like this.
As for the 2.3....I don't mind the engine and I will put some money in universal mods like meth, standalone ECU, and a turbo but I'm not going to get too attached to the engine. A twin turbo'd 5.0 is my dream and goal. Thanks for the interest and compliments!

Black the grille out too while you are at it.

But what's up with those corner lamps though....

For sure one of the coolest Fords from that era. I love them, when I was a kid I went to Waltkins Glen and saw the Wood's Brother Coors T-Bird promo car. Hooked on them ever since.
