i know where youre coming from on that. Its the same here, real rhd imports cost a whole lot to import into the country and it was so much cheaper to buy a front clip than to import a whole car. But as for why im doing it, its just personal preference.

Well, I do love s13's. But I dont get why you are RHD converting it? Isn't it a kinda a bad thing to have RHD car in a LHD country?

Here in Norway we have many RHD s13's and s14's, and their only purpose is as parts cars to LHD cars, or as track/drifting cars. Since its allmost impossible to register a imported RHD japanese car (as long as it's not a classic, 30 year or older), they tend to be cheap. Even the special editions are cheap since they can not be registrated

Dont get me wrong, Im not ****** on your build or anything. Still looking forward to see where this is going

Are those 16's on the Miata? What kind of wheels? I think I have the same ones sitting in the garage (drift spares)... but can't figure out the name.

hey everyone, thanks for all the positive feedback!! as for getting a coupe shell, ive always liked the look of a sil80, and as for the 180 glass, i know a place that can get it for me. plus ive got some friends in yokota, japan. but now for some more pictures and junk!

so with all this work on the miata and the 240, me and stefan did some work on his car every once in a while too. we welded a new exhaust for his sedan, borla!

random photo i took in the miata... lol

so, again, something on stefans car we had to fix, lol. when it rained, there would always be water in his car, and he could never find out where it was coming from. Then finally, he found out he had ripped holes in his floorpan from being so low. haha. so we welded those up too.

Anyways, back to my stuff. I had acquired a bunch of parts and i could barely walk through my garage, so i had to take a whole day to clean it out and organize.

Now, at this point in time, its April, and you know what was in april. Southernfresh and IA in atlanta!!!!!! so we hit the road, driving from Memphis, to Nashville, to Atlanta.

If any of you were at Southernfresh, you know what happened to that poor truck, lol

    My car chillin at Southernfresh

Me and Stefan talking to Nathan before leaving

Love this photo, Me and stefan riding out from southernfresh. Im on the board, hahah

Chilling at IA Atlanta with Gabe's hardtop on my car.

Lowmonroe: crew, chilling. My miata is by the blue one, behind the hatch in this photo, lol

Driving my car around IA and taking photos

On the way back from IA, my lip broke and got stuck under my steering rack for about a mile

Im getting off topic from the 240, haha. so a few more photos, then back to progress!!

Hardtop i bought for super cheap

Mine and stefans car and his ruckus

a couple interior shots of the miata

    my vehicles!!

    Silvia clip is on

Steering column and rack are in.

Drilled out the spot welds on the e-brake bracket.

Drilling out the welds in the battery tray

Starting work on shaving the bay

    My cousin, lol

Little bit of cutting.... preparing for tubbed fenders!

So, after a while of searching, i sourced a guy in Clarksville, TN that had something i wanted. So i drove 4 hours there, picked it up, and drove 4 hours back.

    Got an amazing deal! RB20DET!

Got the full motor, tranny, harness already wired for s13, full exhaust, turbo, manifolds, motor mounts, tranny mount, ac lines, everything for a full swap! for $800

Decided i needed to get rid of all my extra 240 parts, so they are in a trailer and heading to scrap, since ive tried for months to get rid of them and nobody wants them!

So, as of now, thats where it sits. I just bought a 73 cb350f that im trying to get running so im trying to find space for that too, lol

But, i just need to order main bearings, rod bearings, rebuild kit, and head studs, and i can start the rebuild of the rb!

So ill update when i make more progress on the build!!

Love that you will go with the RHD conversion.

What is keeping you from just cutting and welding on the new S13 clip? People say that it would be dangerous, but in fact it was a common practice many years ago. If done properly it could retain the stock s13 rigidity while having the dash pre wired up.

Do you have a place that can get the 180sx rear glass?
