The wheels are two piece so i know that its not leaking because the faces only come out of the barrel. the leak is at the lip bead and it has been cleaned numerous times. had a bend straightened and the only thing i can think to do now at this point it try a less aggressive stretch.
Check your valve stems. Especially if they are bolt on style stems. Could be a bad valve stem gasket.

Here is a pic of the front of how it sits now

still looking for opinions if you guys think bead sealer will cure this issue. ( the cut part of the tire is on the inside bead)

So I got the wheels on, need to cut more coils off the springs, it sits way too high LOL. and the hot rod rake has got to go.

I keep getting this intermittent leak in one of my tires. I thought to myself no way I could have messed up on the rebuild, I was meticulous when sealing them. So I dismounted the tire and I found this……. which on a normal size wheel i think will be fine but since the tire is stretched, it leaks. Does anyone think bead sealer will be able to counteract this? Just looking for opinions.

    keep up the work brother!!!

all 4 wheels are finally rebuilt, sealed, and i have my tires. gonna mount them in the next few days or so.

The top wheel is polished using Mothers Billet, the bottom is finished with Mothers Mag & Alum. All four wheels are now polished using Mothers Billet (this stuff is excellent). I just wanted to show the difference between products.

I split all four, sold the 4" Lips, way too aggressive for a little E21, well at least the look im going for. Bought new 2.5" lips for the front and my 3" going to the rears. Centers are going to stay the silver powder coat, dont want anything crazy. The 3" lips are clear coated, in the process of stripping the clear.

Here some pictures of the process

Left is the Stripped, right is still cleared. excuse the crappy camera phone pictures LOL
