Hi guys, been lurking and had a few posts asking for my MK6 fiesta build so far.
I got the car in January as a standard MK6 fiesta, only got one photo of it when i got it here:

Anyway, it then started as it looked boring. Sadly there's no images of this but i crashed it whilst doing some fwd sliding on an ice back road (yes i'm young, yes i know it was stupid), anyway the bumper snapped at the mountings on the fender, grill etc so had to tie it together with a hoodie drawstring to get it back haha. Its now ziptied together everywhere as all the screw holes (which are plastic by the way) decided to pull the threads.
After about a month of the little crash, i bought some wheels for cheaps, they're some rare Borbet A's in 14 x 6J which are quite old (over 15 the UK distro said). They had no centre caps and I never knew that they were different sizes per wheels i.e. 15s have larger centres than 14s. Reason i chose these wheels is because they are the same size and width as my winter steelies. The benefits are that i don't have to faff about with arch rolling and such and also that because i wasn't really sure what was going to fit so thought i'd play it safe.

It was too damn high and looked awful. So whilst i was getting someone to machine down the centre caps and also refurb the wheels, i got some spax 45mm lowering springs as i didn't want to splash the cash on coilovers if the springs were sufficiently low and some Hecko's to look a little better and to stop the leaky door seal from letting water in. The roads around here at Uni are awful with speedbumps that are difficult in non-lowered and the amount of potholes is ridiculous so I wasn't sure whether coilovers would destroy the car.

The springs arrived and the wheels were done so they got fitted all in one morning and considering the tools we had to use, i'm surprised it didn't take longer. It also got some stickers put on the windows and debadged cause the car isn't immaculate, there are parking dings and scratches all over it if you look at it closely and hence wanted to draw the attention away!
Here's how it stands now:

Not very extensively done because i'm at uni and money is an issue (against peoples common beliefs, student loans don't cover accomodation so have to work more hours to cover them) so i'm not a fan of dumping it, ruining struts or sumps etc cause i can't afford the repairs. Tell me what you think though, not bad for an 18 year old student living in South Wales haha!
