So the wheels came much earlier then expected, as you can see they're in pretty rough shape. not much curb rash tho and no bends got them "apart"


And changed my mind on the wheel colour. They'll be going matte black


And new silver decals for the centre caps are on their way.

Lately been seriously considering just wrapping the entire car, would be cheaper then paint and I'd be able to change the colour. Been considering anthracite gloss grey:

And yes that's a wrap.

Anybody have experience with this sort of stuff? I would definitely get the 3m stuff so it should be alright, my main question is does it hold up well? Any bad experiences with the stuff?

So she's starting to look like a complete car again, rad support needs to be adjusted still but at least it's one piece again

Need to decide now if I should paint the parts that need it or just wrap the whole car and change it to silver.

Also got a stock exhaust! Never been so excited to revert something to stock in my entire life

I see this has coilovers, I'm curious as to what kind of coilovers? cause I know mk1 or 2 golf coilovers can fit those cars with little modification.

It has bc coilovers specifically for the aveo as far as I know

Got a good and fender that are unfortunately gold also got headlights and marker lights. I will grab pics tommorow, but rest assured it finally looks like a complete car.

What can I say? I'm a sucker for 3 spoke wheels
They obviously need to be refinished, likely they will be done with polished lips and
White centres. If they look awfully on the aveo I'll put them onto the satmobile

you should try to aquire a Kalos front end, it looks cleaner than the Chevy one and you'll be all mad tyte KDM LOL.

For everyone wondering what the heck a kalos is,

When my friend originally owned the car we had discussed him possibly getting the kalos front. I was totally in favour of it. Now however I don't feel it looks quite right. Don't get me wrong it definitely looks better stock vs stock but I have a few issues with it. The grill on the kalos is definitely better, it has a more rounded sqaure shape compared to the aveo's half circleish grill. On the kalos however I dislike the bottom grill and foglights area. Also the line that continues from the headlights down (frames the grill almost) I find very off putting. The headlight I at first really liked, but now I see them as being to agressively shaped for the car, if they weren't as pointed I'd like them a lot more. I feel like the car will be better suited with the rounder us spec lights.

Yea when daewoo went under GM bought out most of there engine stock in the US and dumped then in several version of the aveo's. A friend of mine had one that is how I know it was stupidly unreliable and took forever to get simple part like vavle cover gaskets. But that was years ago, and they had alot of complaint so ended up putting Chevrolet motor in later. I liked his cars ***** it drivetrain though.

I believe there's a build on here somewhere for the sedan style body as well. Everything looks better lowered, I say go for it
