Did a little more work. Poly steering rack bushings, sway bar bushings, and forward control arm bushings as well as some paint while I was at it.

And a cool night shot my girlfriend took recently.

With the 13's I wanna go lower, but I am all the way down with no adjuster rings and the spring pre-loaded to no threads left on the strut. That is why I picked up the salad shooters. Plus they are an inch and a half wider all around

Thanks for the compliments. anyone have any ideas on adapters for a car with studs and not lugs? I bought a set but they were lugs that bolted them to the hub and that won't work. I also don't want to spend 400 bucks for custom ones. I may have to.

Been quite lately. I picked up an e23 that I've been putting time into. Also done a lot of work on the girlfriends sw20. I have managed to pick up a new set of wheels for the aw11. 16x9.5 square salad shooters. Started painting them today, already had the centers bored to 72.5 so the adapters will fit other bmw wheels as well. I am thinking black slots will work well with this random cream color I went with.

    how bout 3sgte?
I can't lie, a 3s has crossed my mind many times. If I come across one at a good price, it may happen. Not really planning on going gze, if I boost it is going to be on the 16v 4age.

It may not revv as high without mad modification, but the 16v's seem to feel a bit more torquey.

Lightweight pulleys, flywheel, big bore throttle body, cams, bolt ons, and mild tune will make you more than happy with the little 4ag. The only thing 20v's are good for IMO are good gas mileage.

Sorry for my rant. I love 4a's.

Have you heard of the 2zzge swap? When they hit lift, it is orgasmic. Also, you can use the solid lifters from the echo engine on the 4ag 16v
I haven't read much into a 2zz swap. I should look into that. What is the advantage to running he echo lifters?

Honestly though, I am looking at either turbo'ing this one or swapping in a 20v 4age blacktop motor. It's not quite enough for me, about 140-150 horse would be a better match to the chassis, powerwise.
