This still exists and over the last two years I swapped in a 2.3 turbo from a 940, T5 trans, and an 8.8 rear end. Still a lot of tuning to be done and plenty of loose ends to tie up.









13" Brembos from an S60R.





I bought some better wheels but the offset didn't work out right (they're for sale).



So I bought some more and they fit a bit better. Might change the color later even though it's a little weird and I kinda like it.



Raised the driveshaft tunnel about 3" front to rear and reapplied some of the sound deadener.

Yeah I sold the style 5s already. I have some 16" mesh wheels coming in the mail this week but the plan is to put those on the 244. I can't see going back to anything smaller than a 17" on this car.

What size exhaust? 2-2.5"?

Went ahead and put on a new head. Ported and milled .070" with double valve springs and steel retainers. Next is a full 2.5" mandrel-bent exhaust.

Finally got it running okay today. Then I figured out I have a huge intake leak where I plugged the fuel injector ports which is why it won't run any better than 'okay'.

I got to put 6 miles on it before one of the plugs blew out completely . Oh well. I should be fixing it tomorrow.

Carbs just belong on some cars. I can't wait to get a set of DCOEs on this thing. That should really wake it up.

Love these little things, looks great sitting low on wide wheels. Those style 5's should look great!
