with that color blue you have ide say go for white. But it has to be glossy white. that or polished. Polished would really set it off. But unless you can do it yourself it might not be worth it on a set of OE wheels.

I photoshoped it with white rims and I don't like it... Polished will be nice YES, but I can't do them myself and the shop asked for 400$ which is not worth, just like you said..
I think I will repaint them silver again.. A little refreshment won't be bad..

Which bmw are those wheels off of? What are the specs?

Style 66 came of the e39 (5 series) 540 with the M pack and they are available in 8J and 9J.
This set is 17" 8J ET 20.
...soon to be spaced out

New muffler definitely cleans up the rear. I like the 66's, paint them another color
