Ive been slaving away on the e21 this week, put some serious work into her.
too start: I cut the springs. lowered her.
    Untitled
i cut 2 coils in the front and 2 and quarter in the rear.
then i got my 25mm spacers and them on in the front with 10mm spacers in the back (im going to be getting another set of 25mm for the back soon!)

    SOOOO, friday.
i intend on finally getting these voluptuous shoes on this ol' gal. i hope.
if not, then the next week, all depends if i can find 32mm lugs locally. if not i have to order them :/ im so impatient! lol

but once i have them on my neighbor and i (hes owned a few bmw's and is overall a great mechanic) are going to spend the day cutting the stock spring and lowering this bitch. but not too much for now, just enough to not blow my struts out.
just enough so i dont look like a hoop-dee.

then the next investment will be too get the bilstein struts so i can go lower.
just a little update i thought i would share. hopefully by the end of February, this ol gal will be sitting pretty.

Alright, so a few weeks ago i went out and bought some bbs replicas (15x8 et25 4x100) i dont care that they are replicas, it saves me some money. Besides that, i dont even know if i want to permanently run bbs on this, since every e21 and their mothers runs bbs rs on them.
i took them to my homie Matt's shop and he wrapped them in 195/45/15 rubbers! i like the beefer stance on these cars.
not a ton of poke and pull and such, but after all im building this car for me and only me.

Now i dont know if anyone here knows this, but e21's for whatever reason dont work well with et25. they work well with et0. pain in my ass .___.
so after a day of test fitting spacers, i found a 8-10mm spacer in front and rear have these wheel on there functionally. just barely of coarse

let me know if you guys have any questions.

    Beginning E21 Project

Hey guys, this is my first post, although many years of lurking i have never actually posted.
basically i purchased a bone stock 1980 E21 320i and quickly discovered there are none. so i decided that i would help with the solution and slowly but surely keep this thread updated with my build.
