3m Brand adhesive remover for what.... I bet its like at least $20 a can. For that price he could buy like 4 rolls of the same duct tape and repair anywhere that falls down and then some.

Thanks jack! It's a bit of a mess right now and needs paint, suspension (not out of need, justy want more low), and wheels. I replaced the 2 passenger side doors this past Saturday in Raleigh and replaced her exhaust because the old one rotted out pretty severely. It looks pitiful, but it will come along soon.

The ducttape you see on the c pillar? Been there for about 6 months already. So has the tape on the spoiler.

I think it will hold up ok there boss!

I know the duct tape is a bit unorthodox, and yes I have been flamed for it a little (believe it or not by a stanceworks enthusiast here- flamed me on FB and mye28). It's ok though. Creative things come about when you are too broke for a proper headliner replacement. Also my wife digs it and doesn't mind doing things the "raw" way (gutterminds gtfo! lol).

Yeah I wanted to tuck the bumper while it was off for the front end repairs. It's ok I definitely plan to tuck her bumpers as well as on my car's rear. http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=38776

And yes the welds WERE a PITA! we had to drill them out and grind it down to smooth everything out so the new front clip would install nicely and flush. You really have to know what you are looking for to see evidence of the repairs. I am particularly proud of my work and the welding and grinding work my homeboys performed on her car. It's why we love cars to begin with.

Well you had that front end apart you should have brought that front bumper in or found another.. love the car tho.. Drilling out all those welds would have been a pain.

Had to repair some damage. I used boxes to stiffen it up.

Thanks! Believe it or not 3 of the 4 e28's pictured are mine (err, 2 were mine and the wife's). the 4th (the red one) is owned by my buddy Jerry, who didn't do any work at all (didn't expect him to, he was there to hang). The other guys pictured doing the work are VW gurus but have an appreciate for German classics in general!

We all just love cars! I pretty much did most of the work that did not involve cutting or welding... i am not the man for those jobs!
