nice yeah M5X swaps are really popular but there is something to be said for a stroked out M20 going though long tube headers things sound amazing

This is so cool! How far do you think you can lower an iX? I've never seen one up close but the thought of having one interests me greatly. Looks supah clean, man!

Thank you! Theres a reason why you dont see many...it's much cheaper to just rebuild stock and turbo....but it's not near as classy or bad ass as stroking...also it gives me an excuse to say the word stroker every day

cool Ix always thought a manual 325IX would be a great mountain car
From a 2.5 to a 3.1 Liter after the bore and stroke
And yes it's a 5 speed and amazing in the snow!

Christmas Day
Santa was good to me
He brought me some get low goodies!
Ground Control coils

My parents got me a euro style licence filler, eyebrows, and clear front blinker lenses all from Abrahams Motorsports
Waiting for the coils to come in the mail so I put on the rest on today with my new tools!...frozen as ballz

SO much better
Christmas night a few Subaru friends went out and found some empty snowy parking lots.
All I can say is....the AWD system in my car from 91' demolishes my friends 07Wrx

^Almost hit this curb....almost sh*t my pants

^new phone wallpaper
Also have a few short lame boring videos that I'll post up laterLast edited by austindavidg; 12-31-2012, 07:40 PM.

Ski Rack and Christmas lights went up!

Also removed some tint and destroyed my defroster, but the visibility was worth it.

91' E30ix Stroker m20
This will be my second attempt at a build thread on SW.
My last car was a mint 90' Miata with 60,000 miles on it. That got wrecked and sold to make way for the bimmer.

So anyway, my dad got this 91' 325ix practically for free from a trade when I was about 12 years old (6 years ago). It had about 140,000 miles on it. I wish I had pictures of it from way back then, but this is the first known picture of her.

He did a few things to it, new front lip, bilstein heavy duties, suspension parts, oil changes
Got it sideways doing 80 after one of the rear tires tread ripped off!
At about 260,000 miles the oil pump went out. The motor wasn't destroyed but pretty messed up, he only ran it for about 2 minutes with no oil. This came at the perfect time (right after I wrecked the Miata)
I decided to make the motor beefy and stroke it.
Dont really have all that many pictures from the rebuild.....

^Z car in back
Basically got the all the internals, crank, cam, and chip from these guys (amazing cs btw) http://www.metricmechanic.com/Tags: None
