hey man i believe i ran a 205/50. its been so long now that i forget and sold the tires. but these were actually 15x10 -50. figured that out long after i sold em haha. the wheel had plenty of clearance from the strut housing so i had no issues besides having to cut off my old fendersOriginally posted by Streiffy View PostHey, HalliHoopa... Anyone know what size tires he ran on the center lines. One pic I can see 205/50 (I think). I'm guessing it was the front wheel but not sure. And seeing that the wheels are mentioned as not being staggered "15x10 -25" I'm guessing he/you ran the same size tire on all 4. I'm trying to pick a size for my 10" width wheel. Think I'm liking a 215 more. Also how did you/he fit a -25?! Didn't the rim hit the inner side/struts?

do it up man! i dont mind at all. so basically, ebay plastic universal 2 inch flares. expensive for what they were. and i did it really ghetto. kinda meant to fix it but never did. i used a nut and bolt combo. didnt do rivets because honestly, i didnt know how to use a rivet gun haha. so the rears were cut so far up that i could open my trunk and see daylight by the fender wells. yeah it was bad. you are correct on the thin 1/8ish inch thickness on them. since they were plastic, wherever the tire rubbed, it just melted the plastic and eventually made itself flush to the tire. and yes the rear doors shut haha they worked out perfectly in that area for space because they flowed so well there. good luck man. hopefully this helps some. cant wait to see another one flared.

1) Where exactly did you source these flares. Year for 240sx?
2) Why haven't you sealed the flares with gasket, caulk, or sealant? To be more flush between rivets. Is it due to there not being any kind of under lip underneath/on backside of flare to proper pull flush and seal? Like its just the thin edge of the plastic 1/8" I'm guessing..?
3) May be a dumb question but none of your pix are close or angled enough for me to tell.. Do the rears protrude onto the doors? Meaning they must stay shut?! Lol. I know that's a big problem we 4door'ers run into when flaring... Finding ones that allow us to still open our rear doors.
Think that's it bud. Hope to hear from you soon! Purchased wheels before I found flares. And, NEED to flare to mount these 9" and 10" beasts!

so went to bend yesterday. got a picture in a spot i found a couple months back. shitty phone pic. shitty pic period.

also thought id get the bad side in here. tried buffing out some of the oxidization but didnt work too hot. also hopefully ditching the flared fronts for some rolled fenders since i can fit these wheels under them
